Thor's experience and deep understanding of the needs of family offices have carved his philosophy around the generation of solid and sustainable long-term investment returns. His desire to continue building on the lessons learned through generations motivated Thor’s decision to be a founder of Equitile.

Having spent a number of years working at Carnegie and Morgan Stanley in London, he founded Explora Capital Management in Oslo. As the Principal and CIO of AS Vidsjå, a family owned Company with interests ranging from real estate to leisure, and sits on the Boards of several private companies in Scandinavia.

Thor has a Masters of Arts in Business Organisation from Herriot-Watt University.
